Be very careful when choosing an alarm company to secure your home, some of the bigger companies look great on the surface but let the facts be known. In our industry there is something called an agency license number. This would be a number issued to every alarm technician and all personnel that have access to your file. This number assures that a technician has been threw an extensive back ground check with the MSP (Maryland State Police), CIA, and FBI. The bigger alarm companies have such a high turnover of personnel they hire and fire there technicians before a background check is done or ever done. You have no idea if the technician in your house, the same technician that has access to your files, codes, passwords, callback lists, etc; has a criminal background. Be sure to do your homework before you make any decisions.
